First Step Forward. '

Here we are, 2nd post. FINALLY! 


I have been waiting and waiting for something to come write about and I finally have it! 


I went and checked the mail the other day, and low and behold my high school transcripts had finally arrived in the mail! 


Oh, I should probably catch you up first. 


I never finished high school, and now that I have Carter, I want to make a good life for us, and in order to do that I need to go back to school. I'm not sure why, but for some reason it's very important to me that I get my high school diploma. Not a G.E.D. , not be a mature student, but to actually have my diploma. So once I get my high school, I can go ahead and go to college and get a degree in something, so me and Carter will be stable and I'll never have to worry. 


There is a high school program I want to use. It allows me to stay home with Carter, and work at my own pace. I have set an amount of time as my goal to have it done by, I'm very excited to start this program and hoping everything pans out that I can keep heading in this direction. The thing was in order to participate in this program I had to have a minimum of 16 credits. 


So when my transcripts came in the mail, I ripped the envelope open and low and behold I had over double the amount!! 


So what's the next step? 


Well, the next step is to call the school and find out exactly how I go about enrolling, and then mail them anything and everything I need to mail them. At which point once they have all their information they will mail me what I need to begin. 




I'm super excited to start and can't wait to get things going. I've been set back already a few times and feel I'm falling behind on my goals. But this is a big step and I'm super excited to start and make things happen. 


Other then that, things are pretty quiet on the home front. Carter is doing well and striving each day. I'm working on making things happen for me and trying to get everything going so we can be where I want us to be. For now, things are calm. But, we all know there is always something around the corner. ;)
